For some reason, this article reminds me of a house I lived in one year during college. When we moved in, the door to the basement was unlocked, and we were pretty sure there was at least one dead thing down there (but thankfully not 26 dogs!). Later, the college maintenance people (the college owned the house) came and padlocked the basement door. I’m not sure if it was to keep us out, or to keep whatever was down there in.
Yeah , I go with the controversion.
