acid boysSan Francisco Chronicle, December 20, 1892. I see this as an urban precursor to “You kids stay off my lawn!” It also exemplifies the mass acid attack, of which we’ll be seeing more.

  1. Uhh , regarding the news that , despite the absence of severe
    injury ,”no good intention” was attributed to the acid thrower:
    was it typical to assume some form of chivalry was at play in
    the acid-chucker’s mind?Perhaps he was expected to leave the tumbler at the scene , labelled as to it’s contents and molarity?

    • 1) Molarity! What a beautiful word:
      Noun 1. molarity – concentration measured by the number of moles of solute per liter of solution
      molar concentration, M
      concentration – the strength of a solution; number of molecules of a substance in a given volume

        Well I hope to see it in a headline soon.Some variation , anyway ; y’got yer moles , molar , molarity , millimoles ,yer what-have-yous.
